I'm wishing you all a very Happy World Tuna Day! I love seafood, with tuna and seaweeds as my favorites. Last December 7, 2016 the United Nations General Assembly declared this day to highlight the importance of sustainable management of fish stocks in achieving the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development.
According to thecoraltriangle.com, "one of every five tuna taken from the sea is caught in the Coral Triangle, a six-million kilometer expanse which covers the waters of the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, East Timor, Papua New Guinea, and the Solomon Islands." I live in Mindanao, the island that shares the Celebes Sea with Indonesia---which also happens to be Asia's largest tuna exporter.
